Carlin de Paolo's Barbera has an intense ruby red with fair purple nuances. On the nose it is Intensely ethereal with a prevailing fruity nose of cherry, licorice, plums, violet, and blackberry. On the palate, it is tannic, full-flavored, dry, astringent and persistent with a balanced acidity. The wine is highly versatile, and pairs with roast meat, red meats such as carpaccio, game, and medium seasoned cheese.
